Expansive Expressions Policies

Your purchase of goods and services from Expansive Expressions forms a binding legal contract.

Please read in full.

 

Refunds/Returns:

Due to the nature of the services provided, Expansive Expressions does not offer refunds of any kind on products or services purchased.  The single exception is in the case that Expansive Expressions is unable to deliver the product or service to the customer as it was ordered.

Services are to be scheduled and used within a 12 month from purchase date period – except where otherwise agreed upon and included in a client services contract.

Purchases may not be transferred to any other person.  If you would like to purchase a service as a gift, contact us to arrange for a special certificate.

For any service, you may terminate your participation in services with Expansive Expressions before the end of your agreed upon package. Please be aware that 1) if you are on a payment plan you will owe any remaining balance on your plan and 2) you will not receive any refund in full or in part for your unused services.

Office hours generally occur between 10:00am – 5:00pm Central Standard Time Monday through Thursday (click here for TimeZone Converter).

Jennifer communicates best by email at: jennifer @ Expansive Expressions dot com. Please do not use Facebook, Instagram,  Mighty Networks or other social media to conduct business matters.

Email policies:
Please allow 3-5 business days for a response by email, although we strive to respond sooner. For feedback on documents, all feedback must be included in a single email, or collected in a shared Google Drive folder rather than piecemeal, to allow for timely and efficient responses.

Call Cancellations:
Please provide 24 hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule a meeting. You may forfeit your call & fee if less notice is provided.

Time Off Policy:
Expansive Expressions is closed on weekends and federal and state holidays. From time to time, you will be notified of additional days we are closed.  We will provide advance notice of planned time off.

In alignment with our neuroinclusive and accessibility values, we support our coaches in the flexibility they need to support their wellness.

There will be occasions where your coach may have to reschedule a group or 1-on-1 meeting due to illness or other unexpected situation, your understanding and patience is valued.  We will make every effort to make up your meeting time within a reasonable timeframe.

Purchases & Billing:

For services that are paid in full, payment is required up-front before services are rendered.  All products must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

For services purchased on a payment plan, you will be billed automatically every 30 days (or the nearest weekday) for recurring payment plan charges.

If your card information expires, changes, or is declined, you will be responsible for updating your payment method within 48 hours.  If you fail to provide a valid payment method, your services will be paused until the matter is resolved.

 

Billing Disputes:
In the unlikely event of a disagreement between us regarding your services or deliverables, you agree to make a good faith attempt for 30 days to communicate with Company prior to initiating a chargeback.

One-on-one Coaching:

Sessions will be held over Zoom, or with advance notice, by other means including telephone.

The session must be scheduled using Paperbell’s scheduling calendar, and there is no guarantee that our availability will match yours. You may also schedule a session via conversation with your coach over email or text.

If a session is not used within 90 days, it is forfeited.

If you do not attend at the scheduled time, your session is forfeited.

If you must cancel or reschedule, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance, or your session will be forfeited.

Expansive Expressions uses a recording service to record video, audio, and text transcript of coaching sessions.  We provide opportunities for clients to actively opt-in with consent.  These recordings are shared with that client and used to enrich the coaching experience.

 

Privacy:
While coaches with Expansive Expressions are not held to the same standard of HIPAA protected confidentiality as therapists and other licensed healthcare professionals, we are committed to honoring the privacy and confidentiality of all our clients.

No information shared in group or 1-on-1 sessions will be shared with anyone else EXCEPT in the case where someone presents as a danger to themselves or others, or if a protected class of minor or elder is experiencing abuse.

Additionally, members of the NeuroDefiant Community Circle and Collective are required to agree to honoring the boundaries of the space and the confidentiality of other members by not sharing—in any form (including quotes, screenshots, etc)—content that has been shared and posted by others without explicit written consent.

Part of community building is building trust.  Maintaining each others’ confidences is part of building trust.
